Twelve Days of Christmas: Annual Meditations

Each year I write a meditation on each of the twelve days of Christmas. One year I reviewed the measures I’ve used to evaluate my life, another year I wrote about Augustine’s Confessions. It’s always something of a solipsistic exercise; I think about where I’ve been, and where I might be going. This year the theme is knowledge. I will refer to some texts, especially Luis de Molina’s Concordia of Free Will, Ovid’s Heroides, Giovanni Boccaccio’s Famous Women, and Nagarjuna’s The Fundamental Wisdom of the Middle Way. The introduction will be 300 words and each meditation will be 100 words.
