Each year I write meditations for the twelve days of Christmas. This year as in the past, we’ll count Christmas Day as the first day and Epiphany as its own. I’m going to write about Freedom, Creativity, Power, and Respect, four things I felt I needed in my life. I will add Faith and Love to this mix. This opening, is 200 words. The last on Epiphany will be 200. There will be two posts each on the 6 indicators of 200 words each. That’s a total of 2800 words.
The four indicators were an answer to a question I asked myself in December of 1995 when I was 25; “What do you want the most?” The measures have stood the test of time; They have come to be my dashboard for how I am doing in life.
These measures made sense to me then. But Love and Faith? I’m not so sure. Those will come last. These are meditations. I will try to make them readable and entertaining, but they aren’t for you, it’s a really between me and God. Yes. Get over it. Dial out or dial in. As with every year, I’m looking forward to the talk.
