January 4: Day Ten

I find it comforting that time is a construct and that while we are bound by it and our volition curbed because of it, we still can shape it.

Go for a long run. Toward the end, three minutes will feel like forever. Dither before a Zoom meeting, and 15 minutes will disappear like a flash of lightning.

It’s axiomatic in Novelism that the end and the beginning have already happened and are happening. Remember that book on the shelf.

Faith doesn’t come easy for me, but I find it easier when I know that the author knows the outcome.
