Existence is complete yet ongoing.

Everything that exists in time—whether what has already happened, is happening, or will yet happen—is, from eternity, present before God, according to the very existence of those things.

Novelism also holds that reality is finished, like a book on the shelf. One could remove it and turn to the page at which I am writing then flip to the end of the universe.

It is peculiar to us that we are in time and space. The Author does not. Our story lives forever, yet it seems temporary, contingent on our action
