This makes a lot of sense. It’s hypnotic. Someone has posted a video of this song playing over and over again for two hours. Coming in at 328 plays, the only explanation I have is that it is short. I’m not sure what it is an intro for, but it certainly builds expectation, mostly for the repeat button.

One other memory I have of this song is the hype around the Super Bowl win by the Seahawks. I remember driving through gray Seattle seeing blue banners hanging all over the place with the number 12. I listened to this over and over thinking how much it reminded me of a weird totalitarian state obsessed with the number 12.
